Dr.
Deacue Fields, 2002 Ph.D. graduate of the department, recently received
the Outstanding Faculty Member award in the College of Agriculture at
Auburn University.
Tina Willson, Ph.D. candidate, receives prestigious NOAA/Sea Grant
College Fellowship in Marine Resource Economics, one of only two awarded
in the nation.
Deborah Tootle received the Excellence in Extension and Public Service
Award from the Southern Rural Sociological Association at their recent
annual meeting.
Westra,
Caffey and Huner received an SAEA Outstanding Poster Award at the recent
annual meetings for their presentation entitled "Potential Tools for
Conserving Agricultural Wetlands."

United States Department of Transportation Meritorious Achievement Award.
Beginning in 2005 Mr. Lambert will be working for the U.S. Army Corps of
